The Hollies farmhouse is a very attractive house on a working farm, with pleasant views of farming countryside. There are many animals to see including sheep, lambs and calves.

Set in the attractive countryside of North Devon near the Cornish border, we are in an ideal situation for touring or walking around Devon or Cornwall. Bude which is only 9 miles has a lovely beach and surfing, and there are numerous other coastal resorts including Clovelly, Boscastle and Tintagel. Dartmoor National Park is within easy reach and local lake fishing.

There is an indoor swimming pool at Holsworthy, a busy little market town, which is three miles away and, not to be missed, the Eden Project - approx. an hour easy drive over Bodmin Moor from The Hollies.

The Royal Horticultural Society gardens at Rosemoor are around 45 minutes drive away.

Accommodation consists of 3 en-suite bedrooms. Two are double rooms and one is a family room or twin bedroom.

All rooms are comfortable, light and spacious with television and tea making facilities. There is plenty of parking space available, an extensive safe lawn area for playing games and a sunny patio for relaxing. There is a new barbeque area with gazebo, for your use.

Families are welcome.

Evening meals are optional, being served in our newly constructed conservatory with splendid views.

Ashwater village Inn is highly recommended, the Arscott Arms - closest and also the Rydon Inn at Holsworthy..

This area of Devon is a bird watchers paradise, due to the many different habitats of open moorland, secluded valleys, rolling hills, ancient woodland and of course, the coastline.

Riding and pony trekking are available nearby and there are golf courses at Holsworthy and Bude.

Come and enjoy a complete rest in this most beautiful part of the country. We are sure that everyone who stays for a week or more, leaves looking ten years younger! Come and sample the peaceful atmosphere for yourselves.

Food provided is of the best quality possible with choices. Special diets catered for.
